Is Tempe Accessible?  The City Wants to Know.

Tempe sidewalks, bus stops, playgrounds, and parking garages are some of the places that should be easily accessible to all its residents and visitors.  If they are not, Tempe wants to hear from you as it conducts an accessibility evaluation of its facilities, as well as policies and programs, to develop the city’s Americans’ with Disabilities Act Transition Plan.

Public Meetings

An open house to learn about and comment on the plan was held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road from 10 am to noon and 5 to 7 p.m.

Please check back for additional dates when and locations where city staff will give a presentation and gather your comments.

The public can contact Michele Stokes, ADA Compliance Specialist, with questions or to request other accommodations, at 480-350-2704 phone; relay users: 711; or by email at Michele_Stokes@
