The City of Tempe is committed to assuring the quality of stormwater discharges from the municipal storm sewer system is managed to the maximum extent practicable. A Stormwater Management Plan has been designed to meet this commitment. The Stormwater Management Plan incorporates stormwater monitoring, public education, and a variety of best management practices.

These components are integrated to allow us to assess the quality of stormwater and identify areas where stormwater quality can be improved. Improvement to stormwater quality can be made through implementing management practices to control potential sources of pollution along with raising public awareness on proper use and disposal of products such as motor oil, antifreeze and pesticides. To report a concern, telephone (480) 350-4311 or complete a complaint form
