The Tempe Historic Preservation Commission was established by the Tempe Historic Preservation Ordinance in 1995 to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters concerning historic preservation. The volunteer commission makes recommendations to the Development Review Commission regarding designation of landmarks, archaeological sites, park preserves, historic properties, and historic districts.
Meeting schedule: Second Tuesday each month, from 6 to 8PM
Meeting location: Hatton Hall, 34 E. Seventh St. (Gov. Benjamin B. Moeur House Campus), Tempe, AZ 85281
Parking: City Hall Parking Garage, free with ticket validated at meeting
Transit: Tempe Transportation Center (near 5th Street + College Avenue)
